Orcas Visit the Riviera Marina Dock on New Year's Day
It was an unforgettably magical 30 minutes for islanders when pods of Bigg's (Transient) Orcas stopped by for a close-up visit on New Year's Day 2015. They came within 30 yards of shore, with 2 young orcas playing with water birds, and the adults breaching, rolling, and putting on quite a show.
