In May 2013, I bought a Canon 60D with an 18-135mm lens because I was tired of making the effort to take photos and being disappointed with the results. With the help of a Picture of the Day challenge in my first year, this little hobby exploded into one of my greatest joys.
These days, I'm shooting with a Canon 1D Mark IV, and most often a Tamron 150-600mm lens. Here on a little island in the south Puget Sound, I'm surrounded by a million little wonders - baby birds exploring the world, curious raccoons, hungry deer, regal bald eagles, and sometimes the occasional orca or whale. Wildlife photography is an amazing window into the wonders of the world, and I'm so happy to be able to share it.
Some of my photography is for sale here, but most of it is over on my Flickr feed. If you see something over there that you'd like to purchase, just let me know. Also, if you are a non-profit or individual and want to share or use my photography, everything on my Flickr site is licensed under Creative Commons, not for commercial use and credit given. Feel free to share as long as you leave the watermarks intact.
